Open invitation! Adults and teenagers... there will be 2 sections: AR 101 for new
AR Athletes and Advanced Navigation for experienced navigators in AR
- New AR Athletes get a 1 hour
AR101 Clinic and a 2 hour practice race with kayak, fire road mountain
biking and on-trail trekking (trail running).
- Advanced Atheletes get a advanced 1 hour Navigation Clinic with UTM plotting, bearings, declination, etc. plus a 2 hour navigation practice race on mtn bike and trek (bushwacking).
Location: Start and Finish at Lake Chabot. http://www.norcalfishing.com/chabot.html
Duration: 8:30 AM - Noon (1 hour clinic, 30 min prep, 2 hour practice race)
Distances: *approximations will be provided on Monday after we set the course this Sunday!
Cost: $20 includes either clinic. AR101 class will need kayak rental money $10 each for a double kayak.
