Subject: Crew needed for Gold Rush

Due to a family tragedy we (team baarbd wire) have lost our crew for
the Gold Rush race this weekend and are desperately looking for a
replacement.

We're an easygoing experienced team who don't require a lot of
hand-holding, so don't be intimidated if you've never crewed before!

We'll provide transportation and pay expenses for anyone who is able
to help us out so feel free to bring a friend (within reason; we're
not gonna fly your cousin in from Dubuque).

You'll also have a first-row seat to all the tricks a team uses during
a race; my sock-changing technique alone is probably worth 10 seconds
over a 24-hour race.
