New 2008 NORCAL Adventure Race Series

Hi Folks -
I'm putting together a new race series with a focus on the Bay Area for 2008!
The 1st event in the series is going to be March 15th in the Pacheco State Park area (Hollister, CA). For those not familiar with the location, it is about 60 miles south of San Jose.
The Pacheco event will be 10 hours +/- in length... with a new twist that will enable everyone to finish by 5pm. To eliminate some of the other AR hassles, check-in and pre-race briefing will be Saturday morning right before the race and no support crew will be required.
You'll need to supply your own boats (canoe or kayaks), bikes, and stamina.

PS - In terms of other races in the 2008 series, I'm in the process of finalizing a few dates and trying to avoid any scheduling conflicts with other events. More info on that will be on the website.
