Hey all,
I just lost my buddy for this Sunday's 7 hour Silver Sage race in Reno. He
has suffered a bad hand injury. I was just wondering if anyone out there
wanted to fill in last minute. Here's the catch. My buddy was the expert
navigator on the team. I am mediocre at best, so my teammate would have to
be able to take these duties.
A little about me... I am a strong runner (ran Boston marathon this year)
and a pretty decent biker (at least from an endurance standpoint). I am
also pretty good in the kayak. Ive been doing the Big Blue races for 4+
years.....
I thought I would just throw out a feeler. If I don't get any bites, I will
try solo. Hope to see you on the course.... assuming I don't get lost on
my way to the start. :)
