I just heard about a free, urban adventure race in San Francisco
tomorrow, see below for complete details.
Here's the gist: there are 18 spots left, but if you want to do and
it's full, sign up for the waiting list and show up in the morning.
The prizes are pretty nuts: 1st place is an all-expenses-paid 8 day
vacation to one of a number of exotic locations, second place is $6000
in cold hard cash, 3rd is $4000. There are other prizes too, and the
top 30 teams get free Blackberry Curves.
Here are the details:
The Blackberry Curve Challenge is a one-of-a-kind experience where
teams flex their physical and mental muscles in a scavenger-hunt style
race using the new Blackberry(R) Curve(TM) 8330 Smartphone from
Verizon Wireless. The event is absolutely free and space is extremely
limited. Register now at www.blackberrycurveuc.com.
Teams will utilize the all-new Blackberry Curve 8330 Smartphone and
navigate to checkpoints throughout San Francisco. You will crack
codes, use clues, put your street smarts to the test, and utilize the
features on the all-new Curve as you make your way to numerous
checkpoints placed throughout the city.
Once you reach a checkpoint is when the real excitement begins. Mental
tests, physical challenges, and more await participants. No two
checkpoints are the same in this one of a kind experience
Prizing for the Blackberry Curve Challenge is out of this world;
The winning teams get's an all-expense-paid vacation to Rome, Paris,
Maui or the Mayan Riviera! Each member of the second place team gets
$3000.00 cash. Each member of the third place team gets $2000.00 cash.
Prizing continues down to the top 15 teams and includes gift cards,
and of course the all new Blackberry Curve 8330 Smartphone from
Verizon Wireless.
Show them how the Bay area rolls!
