Instructor Bios:
Ken White (http://kenwhite.us/ken__white_1.0_006.htm) has more than 20
Top Ten adventure race finishes, and was a top age grouper at XTERRA
off-road triathlons and mountain bike racing. He's been mountain
biking for nearly 20 years, and is the head coach of the Redwood High
School Mountain Bike team. And yet somehow he STILL manages to fall
off his bike every now and then, and he tries to learn something every
ride. Ken enjoys helping riders experience that "Aha!" moment when it
all clicks into place and will be teaching the Intermediate/Advanced
clinic.
Jen Klafin comes to us with 7 years of adventure racing under her belt
with several first place and top five finishes in sprint to 24-hour
races. She has attended several mtn biking clinics to improve her own
riding over the years, including one lead by the infamous Marla Strebb
of Luna Chix, and she is a certified snowboard instructor. Jen, a
co-founder of baarbd.org, will be leading the Beginners Mtb Clinic
this Sunday.
See you Sunday!
