SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - July 10, 2006 -- baarbd is proud to announce the launch of their new, interactive calendar on www.baarbd.org . The calendar enables visitors to view races, training events, and other sports-related activities to easily plan their sporting schedules. Members (registration is free) can post, as well as view the calendar to advertise events and communicate with the AR community.

The calendar has a number of innovative features that enable easy and intuitive interaction. A matrix of event-types and sport-types allows users to create custom views based on their interests, which is driven by the posting classifications. Four unique displays offer varying levels of detail, from monthly highlights to daily planners down to the minute. Another helpful feature is the ability to sync the baarbd calendar with other calendaring programs like Outlook and iCal. The best part of the interactive calendar is that members, most notably race directors, can post and update their events in real-time!
